A brochure is good for many people to read information about certain things and it gives you more details. I think that brochure are more for parents than students. Students aren't really into brochures unless they are really pretty and have some interesting facts and information to share with you. Parents are more likely to read brochures, because they want to know more about something and they also have more time on their hands such as taking it home with them, or reading it later on when they do not have work to do at their job.
Brochure 1: I do not think that this is a good brochure for a parent or for anyone to read. The colors are very bright and childish. It is nice for brochures to have bright colors because you want the brochure to attract to people but it is not good to use colors that are hard to read. The alignment in this brochure is good, but I think that they tried to use too much information which makes it look cluttered.
Brochure 2: I think that this is a great brochure. The contrast is used well. They used darker colors on the border to show the Hawaii beach, but in the middle of the brochure where they had to insert information; they used a lighter color. The alignment is good, because they have bullet points for Hawaii fun facts and on the left side of the brochure, they line up places located within Hawaii. They also lined up the pictures nicely. This is a kind of brochure that will make people plan a vacation to actually go to Hawaii!
Brochure 3: This is a brochure for Six Flags and I think that the contrast is okay, but it could be much better because it is for an amusement park where a lot of things are bright and fun. The alignment is way off. Whoever made this brochure didn't really go for a "brochure" look, but they kind of wanted it to be more playful so they decided to make it into a collage. Some pictures are straight and some pictures are diagonally placed. It is also isn't that much information on this brochure. Personally, I would want to know way more about this amusement park if I was to bring a child here.
